This policy explains what South Texas Builders collects when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to south-texasbuilders.com and to the forms, calls, texts and emails that start here.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you complete a form on this site, you provide your name, phone number, email address and whatever you tell us about your project, where you want to build, your timeline, your budget range and any message you write. If you call or text, we keep a record of that conversation so the next person you speak to is not starting from zero.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. These are used to keep the site working and to detect abuse.
What we do not collect. This site does not ask for financial account numbers, Social Security numbers or credit information. If a lender needs those, you provide them directly to the lender, never through this website.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and schedule a consultation.
- To introduce you to a lender when you ask us to.
- To manage your project if you become a client.
- To keep the website working and secure.
Consent to be contacted
When you submit a form you check a box agreeing to be contacted by phone, text and email about your project. That consent is specific to your enquiry. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or writing to admin@south-texasbuilders.com. Withdrawing consent for marketing does not stop us from contacting you about an active build.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with parties who need it to do the thing you asked for:
- Our customer relationship system, which stores your enquiry so our team can act on it.
- Our website host, which processes form submissions and serves the site.
- Lenders, but only the one you agree to be introduced to, and only after you say yes.
- Trade contractors and municipalities, where necessary to build and permit your home once you are a client.
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to.
Video
Client video testimonials are hosted by a third party video provider. Nothing loads from that provider until you press play on a video, no scripts, no cookies, no requests. If you never press play, the video provider never learns you were here.
Maps
Our contact page embeds a map of our office. Loading that map sends a request to the map provider, which may set cookies under its own policy. The map is loaded lazily and only on that page.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Third party embeds, the map, and video if you play it, may set their own. Because we do not run non essential tracking, this site does not show a consent banner. If that changes, this policy and the site will change with it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while they are active and for a reasonable period afterwards, since building a home is often a multi year decision and people come back. Client records are kept as long as needed for the project, warranty obligations and applicable law. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry and client records is limited to team members who need it. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not store payment details or government identifiers on this website.
Your choices
Write to admin@south-texasbuilders.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to stop hearing from us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be stated plainly rather than buried.
