South Texas Builders began in 1992, when Israel González founded Gonzalez Construction with a simple belief: if you build for families, you build with integrity. Over the years, that belief became the foundation for hundreds of homes and lasting relationships across South Texas.

What started as a family construction company evolved into a trusted custom home builder serving the Rio Grande Valley, the Coastal Bend, and Alice, Texas. Today, under the leadership of Javier González, the next generation continues that promise with a more refined process, a stronger in-house team, and the same hands-on pride that built the company’s name.
